Daily Digest #2

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. —1 Corinthians 10:31

Many times, we do or not do things just to please ourselves, thinking "this is what i need now" or "this is what is right for me".... Actions are often manifested by our thoughts.. So, what on earth are we thinking? We often forget that we are here for a purpose, His purpose.... to do kindness to others, to love one another... We are selfish in nature, but once wisdom has dawned on us, we are given the choice to do what's right, not in the eyes of men, but in the eyes of God.... Pride takes away all the moments of peace-giving and loving in spite of the wrongs other people have done to us.... Easier said than done, but when we remind ourselves everyday that we are living, breathing, eating and working for His glory, we end up having a different, and much better, perspective of the things around us...

May we establish and continue our talks and walks with the Lord in our lives... May we remember to pray, to share the most intimate details of our lives to Him so that all our actions and decisions will be blessed and be according to His will.... May we never forget to count the many blessings we receive each day, to praise and thank Him for them. May we be living testimonies of His grace and mercy in our lives.
