Sensitivity Check

I don't get how some adults can afford to take relationships carelessly, oozing with confidence as if they can turn people around and around as they please. Isn't it selfish and immature? Don't they know that they could hurt people's feelings? It just seems so irresponsible and cocky. They tend to take advantage of others' vulnerability and when things get complicated, they simply turn away, leaving the other behind like some used paper. Maybe those people are just immature, or too scared to get into real relationships that they use their you-are-so-lucky-to-have-me attitude to self-protect. We gotta let go of our bearings sometimes, ya know.

There are many of us who are struggling to find true love. We know it's out there. And it's such a shame to see people treating "love" like a plaything. A little sensitivity, huh?

As the saying goes, "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

*Sigh* Too much emotion here. I have not slept well because my sister, who was supposed to arrive at 6.50am, moved her flight to 10am and just informed us when the cab was already at the airport. Grrrr. Anyway, good day, y'all! Can't wait to see my niece and nephew... :D

Discourtesy IS Frowned Upon

Smile, Jho, smile....

Don't you just hate it when you set rules on certain premises and then somebody just dishes them out? The nerve. Well, strike one for this guy at work. There isn't really any room for a strike 2 or 3. We're adults and professionals here, for Pete's sakes (ummm this guy? doubtful). Maybe I should just make a bigger sign, stretching all throughout the glass doors, no? That should do it. Otherwise, he's up for a real serious spanking.

*Patience is a virtue. Funny how we expect others to follow us, when it is a struggle to follow the rules set by God.

Cursing Billy Blanks

Tonight was only my second time to follow the advanced tae-bo workout cd which I got ages ago, and i couldn't help but shout swear words at the instructor on video. I am still in my sweaty workout gear (eeewwwww), trying to rest and write while I'm still in the mood before i hit the shower.

For the first 20 minutes of the entire 30-minute workout, I was already gasping for breath, tongue out, desperate for H2O. I was praying as I struggled with the much faster punches and kicks, "Please, please, please let this be worth my while." I do have to shed off the remaining pounds, which is still A LOT, and the thought sort of boosted up my adrenalin already. Then Billy Blanks started doing one of his irritating adlibs, "What? What did you say? That's right, one more set!" So I went (*%@#^!$@^%$@#R%*&!^Y#P(*^(%!*(&#*!!! plus the dirty finger flying in the air with the punches.

Well, writing about it now makes me laugh. I can be so whiny sometimes :D
