Sabi nga, "laging makinig sa nakakatanda"... Some of us might even start a debate on this, especially those who believe that older people are not always right. Thing is, sometimes they are. And if we set our minds to the prior statement, that they're not always right, we'll miss the moments when they are telling us the right ones at the right moment... I think the advantage of older people is the weight of the advice they give... There's "experience" already attached to it, which makes them more credible sometimes.
I believe God sends His messages through other people... He speaks to us through others -- some old, some young, some our own age -- and sometimes even from our own mouths/hearts. Let's pray to the Lord that He may bless us with perception, that we may see or hear His message, no matter what form they arrive.
