Daily Digest #15

Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity. —Psalm 26:1

Prayer requests and pleas are all too common for us that we forget the real purpose of prayer. May God shower us with patience, so we may truly hear His answers to our prayers. May we remember that God always sees and hears -- that He is the One who will judge those who have wronged us, and the One who will judge us when we have wronged others. May we seek His wisdom so we may think and act according to His will. We all know that the more we strive to follow Him, the more obstacles we seem to meet along the way. I, for instance, often encounter situations and people that really test my patience, and I admit I do not have much. That's why we need His constant guidance, so that we may not be carried away by our emotions or be driven by human standards, and thus, see things in His perspective and not ours.
