Daily Digest #278
I am with you always, even to the end of the age. —Matthew 28:20
Isn't it comforting to hear somebody say "I will never leave you"? Although amongst people, that promise is yet to be seen hehe. But we were given the same promise by God, and the good news is, He never fails. I'm sure all of us experienced loneliness or helplessness before, and not a single soul was there to turn to. Let us look back to those moments and remember how we got through.... Did we learn blurt out all our frustrations to God? Did we blame Him for everything wrong in our lives? Did we ask Him what He was trying to do to you? Did we wait for His answers and listen intently? Did we endure, or did we just ignore the situation? We have different ways of venting out our inner feelings, and no matter which form they come out, the good Lord sees, hears and answers everything. It is up to us if we would divert to talking with God, and be open to what He has to say.
For this, let us pray. May we develop a habit of praying -- not just saying memorized prayers but really communing with the Lord (telling Him about our day, the lessons we learned, the lessons we do not understand, problems we encountered, dreams we wish to achieve, our plans for tomorrow, concerns about a friend or a family member or even a stranger we bumped into who needs prayer, our doubts, our fears, our weaknesses, whatever we want to ask Him -- see? there's so much to talk about! :D ) May we build a strong relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Pray always.
