Daily Digest #108
Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill. —Philippians 1:15
The essence of praise, worship and service to God really comes from one's own heart. Anything that is done otherwise is plain hypocrisy. Nonetheless, no matter what our intension is, the good news is always preached, and the love of God is spread somehow. We often base our beliefs in what we perceive in others, and most of the time we are quickly discouraged by what we think are un-Godly. We are so quick to judge, finding it easier to see the flaws of others, when we ourselves fail to realize our own.
For this, let us pray. May we learn to see the good in others. May we be instruments for spreading God's Words by allowing Jesus Christ's love and grace to reflect in our lives. In which way, we can also see the works of God in others' lives. May we lead each other closer to God. Pray always.
