Daily Digest #118

The Lord Himself will descend from heaven . . . . Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up. —1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

May we not base our faith solely on modern sightings or miraculous works that stir our feelings alone. May we be reminded that faith is not merely a feeling. It is deeply rooted in one's heart, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Faith stirs up love and good works. For this, let us pray. May God renew our hearts, so we may strengthen our faith. May we learn to truly love God with all our heart and mind, and our neighbors as we love ourselves. May we live by the moment, so when the time comes that we meet Jesus face to face, we are ready. Pray always.
